It seems like we were just counting down to the New Year but February is already waiting around the corner. As the stores are filling up with stuffed animals and hearts of all shapes and sizes, decide to go back to basics this year and dig into handmade with your little ones.
Whether contributing to the school party or just marking the month of love at home, make it fun and unique!
There is no celebrating Valentine’s Day without chocolate and sweets. My choice for the school party this year are the adorable and oh so simple heart cupcakes. Glory also has a yummy maraschino cherry frosting recipe to go with these and I cannot wait to try it. Conversation hearts are a V- Day staple and it is so much fun finding different interpretations of the same candy. They were also the inspiration behind our Doodle Valentine collection of goodies.
Decorated sugar cookies are my secret desire, if I had time to make them. The decorating possibilities are endless, whether you go whimsical or romantic show us your creations so we can swoon over them together.
For your valentines this year, go creative with cupcake liners, hand prints, photo signs and word plays or expand with hilariously easy activities like valentine’s day bingo or 10 things I love about you envelopes.
