Simply Sprout, An Early Learning Educational Website

TallyConnection is proud to have partnered with Simply Sprout. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to share the many family friendly goodies they have to offer.

First, here’s a bit about Marcy and Amanda, the creative duo behind Simply Sprout, an educational website that encourages parents to become their child’s first teacher as well as offer other teachers inspiration and support for their own classrooms around the country.

Marcy, is the creative designer behind Simply Sprout, with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida State University and a National Boards Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist. She spent the last 10 years in the elementary classroom encouraging students from K through 3 to get creative and engaged in their own learning. Using her love of technology to create her own curriculum and designing materials to fit individual student’s needs continues to be her passion both in and out of the classroom.

Amanda, is the educational developer behind Simply Sprout, with a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in elementary education from Florida State University.  Amanda has spent the last eight years in an intermediate level classroom and is now making a switch into teaching enrichment to multiple grades.  She takes pride is teaching at the school she attended as a child, and is passionate about children learning through creating, exploring, and even having fun along the way!

Simply Sprout has just completely revamped their great website and below is a list of the highlights:

• Weekly features for parents, such as Mommy & Me Mondays, where we spotlight learning activities for little ones, developmental milestones or parent issues and advice.
• Weekly book club on Wednesday’s, spotlighting a literary favorite of ours and combining learning activities moms can do at home with their little ones.
