At Home Idea

Courtesy of Pinterest, this idea is a fun one to try. Have your kids plant jelly beans, and when they wake up in the morning, lollipops have grown where the jelly beans were planted.

Books & Baskets & More

Books

There’s something about reading a story that has been told for over 100 years that just makes you smile and somehow the kids seem to know it’s a classic and enjoy it all the more since it’s “a special book”.  The Story of Peter Rabbit tells of a naughty little bunny who steals vegetables from a farmer despite his mother’s advice has been entertaining youngsters for over 100 years. Winsome watercolor paintings by artist Lisa McCue bring fresh appeal to this classic of children’s literature. Delicately abridged text preserves the charm and flavor of the original story.  View over twenty different versions of the classic, available online at The Bookshelf & Gallery.

Read this great post of theirs, A-Tisket, A-Tasket: The Perfect Easter Basket Books.

Baskets
Filling an Easter basket for the kiddos can be lot’s of fun.  It’s a great chance to entice them to get out and enjoy the beautiful springtime weather, and we can all recall being excited about the small stuff as a kid.  Here are some ideas:

  • Bubbles in springtime colors
