May 22 and May 29 – BODYFLOW™ – a Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout designed to build flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.
Lace up your walking shoes and fill your water bottles! The Apalachee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association (FTA) is once again hosting a National Trails Day event on Saturday, June 1 starting at 9:00 am. This year’s event will be held at Lake Talquin State Forest – Fort Braden Trails on Hwy 20 approximately 8.7 miles west of Capital Circle N.W. in Tallahassee. Fort Braden Trails – Explore a range of different ecosystems and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Talquin on the 1,242-acre Fort
Braden Tract. Across the country thousands of events are planned on this day with one shared experience – celebrating our trails. Event will wrap up before 1:00 pm.
Throughout the one-day camp, Jameis Winston and our coaches will offer tips and hands-on instruction, including lectures, fundamental football skills stations, contests, and non-contact games in a high-energy, fun, and positive environment. Campers will be placed in small groups by age to ensure that each child gets maximum instruction. The camp will be staffed by some of the area’s top high school and college coaches.
Join us for CRMC’s annual Women’s Wellness Day. Guests will hear from keynote speaker, Jane Jenkins Herlong, an award winning and best-selling author who will be speaking on the “pearls of health”. Guests will also hear from a panel of physicians who will speak on various women’s health topics.
