Aunt Louise’s Farm has lots of fun things to do. A corn maze, a tour ride, a barrel train, corn pits to play in, pumpkins for sale. There are lots of animals to see… from Alpacas to Zebus and everything in between (the baby bunnies are always a big hit). You can get some kettle corn, a corn bread waffle, snow cones, cotton candy ad other concessions.
The farm is 20 miles East of Tallahassee, 8101 Waukeenah Highway Monticello, Florida. The fee is $8 per person for entry, kids 3 and under are free.

Miracle Sports Baseball is a program put on by the Florida Disabled Outdoors Association (FDOA), where people with and without disabilities are encouraged to come out to the Miracle Field at Messer Park and enjoy the sport together. Adaptive equipment provided, such as a tee to bat and a baseball that emits a noise for people with visual impairments! With no winners or losers, the event is all about building confidence through a family-like and encouraging atmosphere.

The event is weekly from September 6 – November 15, children play from 6:00-7:00 pm and adults from 7:00-8:00 pm.

On October 27th we will gather for the 63rd annual Florida Forest Festival at Forest Capital Park in Perry, Florida. If you plan to join us at the Florida Forest Festival on October 27th, please bring a donation of nonperishable food, basic hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and/or pet food. Our friends at Big Bend Technical College (BBTC), across the street from Forest Capital Park, will be collecting the items and driving them to our neighbors in the Panhandle area.

BBTC will be driving a bus of donated items over to the devastated area daily. If you have any questions, please contact Liddie Davis at 850-838-2545.

We will be donating them to people in need.

* Your used, no longer needed, clean T-shirts!
Our Rags 2 Bags team is making bags from T-shirts for distribution of produce at local food banks. Please make sure they are clean so our team can get right to work sewing!

* Your reusable water bottle!
Because this is a green event, with no bottled water, no Styrofoam, and no plastic bags! (We will provide clean drinking water for you to use.)
