Classical Revolution Presents Musical Mixology @ Waterworks
Apr 26 @ 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Please note this event is reoccurring.  Please confirm there has been no interruption before planning to attend.

Last fall Classical Revolution—an organization that promotes the performance of western art (classical) music in progressive settings such as bars and cafés—established a new chapter in Tallahassee, Florida. Founded by Larkin Sanders (DM, clarinet performance), Cole Belt (DM, saxophone performance), and Ben Lougheed (DM, guitar performance), the events quickly grew into a regular, well-attended staple at Waterworks. Now, with Larkin, Cole, and Ben all back in town for the school year, the series will once again be performing concerts of classical music that are free and open to the public. Programs will feature works from all time periods, including ancient music with period instruments, baroque, classical, romantic, impressionist, modern, post-modern, and contemporary. Ensembles will range from traditional string quartets to contemporary percussion ensembles and non-traditional groups. Performers are graduate students and faculty from the College of Music at Florida State University. Waterworks and Classical Revolution plan to have performances scheduled the last Thursday of every month from 9:00 to 11:00 PM.

TSO presents: An Epic Evening @ Ruby Diamond Concert Hall | Tallahassee | Florida | United States

Our season finale promises to be an epic evening of music! From Rachmaninoff’s sweeping Second Piano Concerto, to Respighi’s majestic Pines of Rome, this concert is heavy-hitting on both heart-wrenching, lush orchestration and soul-searching, musical intimacy. Pieces by Berlioz and Puccini will round out this night of symphonic poetry. Exclusively sponsored by Capital City Bank.
