Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

October 20, 2013 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm  |  Southwood Town Center

Why do you walk? Your reason for participating in the American Cancer Society Making Strides walk is as unique and special as the story that motivates you. Maybe you’re walking in honor or memory of a loved one, or maybe you’re facing the disease yourself. By joining our family of volunteers, you’re helping the American Cancer Society continue to do the most for people facing breast cancer today to end the disease tomorrow.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events are a celebration of survivorship – an occasion to express hope and our shared determination to make this breast cancer’s last century.

There are currently eight fundraising events happening around town, prior to the big walk, with more being added each week.  From pink pianos, to pink jewelry, to Bunco night and more….there’s no shortage of fun ways to Go Pink this month and celebrate Making Strides for a World without Breast Cancer!
