Florida Autism Center specializes in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) for children with autism spectrum disorders. We accept clients through age 13, and boast 1:1 ratios for completely individualized therapy. We specialize in Early Intervention, “get them in young, get them out young” type mindset, and offer a private school. McKay scholarship recipients are welcome, and we also have an after school therapy option for children who attend public school but may need a little extra help with homework, social skills and more.
You can really see a difference even from the first day. Our child immediately began to become more outgoing and was even excited to go to school. We had never seen him actively excited about anything like this.

After trying everything we finally found something that works. They understand, they care, and they know what to do. I am so happy that I found FAC.
The Florida Autism Center has locations in Tallahassee, Sanford and Daytona Beach Florida that provide early intervention, one-on-one therapy and private school to children ages 1 – 13. The Florida Autism Center was founded in 2005, and serves Central Florida, Florida’s Central East Coast, and the Florida Panhandle. The organization employs a diverse and talented team of behavior analysts at each of its locations. The Florida Autism Center is owned and operated by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and is a practicum and supervision site for Florida State University, Nova Southeastern University, Florida Institute of Technology, Kaplan University and others.
The Florida Autism Center provides treatment based on the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, and has a specific focus on early intensive behavioral intervention, verbal behavior (language) training, and social skills training. Additionally, the Florida Autism Center can help your child learn to display basic “following directions” skills, self-care and daily living skills, and can give your child a strong foundation in skills that will be needed as he or she advances academically.
Our goal, although not achievable for every child, is mainstream kindergarten readiness. We want our kids to be indistinguishable from their peers and successful in typical environments. For children unable to transition to typical settings, Florida Autism Center strives to provide the best alternative educational placement available for continued enrichment and lifelong learning. Our school program provides much more than academics, as our commitment is to teaching a child to be a functional and valuable member of society.
The Florida Autism Center will enable each child in our care to reach his or her personal potential. Through excellence in clinical practice, we will educate communities and collaborate with families to ensure our children lead happy, successful, barrier-free lives.
