Tallahassee Autumn Activities for 2019

Despite the sweltering heat that may follow us into next month, the autumn season is fast approaching. In Tallahassee, there are dozens of ways to celebrate the fall with fairs, fests, football, friends and family fun. From costume contests to haunted trails, these memorable fall activities will keep you busy until the winter holidays.

Havana Pumpkin Fest

The Havana Pumpkin Fest returns this year to supply the community with pumpkins for the Halloween season. Join them for this all-day event with pony rides, arts and crafts and homemade goodies.

Aunt Louise’s Farm

Open for the season


Head down to Aunt Louise’s Farm this fall for a large corn maze, yummy snacks, and animals galore. 

Trunk or Treat at the Learning Pavilion

Friday, October 25 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.


The Learning Pavilion’s 4th Annual Trunk or Treat boasts 28 trunks, two hayrides and tons of fun.

Halloween Howl 2019

October 25 & 26 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.


Tallahassee Museum’s 25th annual Halloween Howl includes trick-or-treating, spooky and not-so-spooky haunted trails and costume contests.

5th Annual Trick-or-Treat Story Walk

Saturday, October 26 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.


The Wakulla County Library and Parks and Recreation Department are hosting their 5th annual Trick-or-Treat Trail at Azalea Park & Hudson Park. Costumes, candy, stories and a walk through the park, what more could you ask for? The event starts at Azalea Park and concludes at Hudson Park

Scaredy Cat Ride

Saturday, October 26 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.


Does your family love a good bike ride? The Scaredy Cat ride benefits cat rescues in Tallahassee, and Halloween costumes are more than welcome.

Canterfield of Tallahassee Fall Festival

Saturday, October 26 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.


Canterfield Tallahassee will be hosting their first Fall Festival this year, complete with a bounce house, best family friendly costume contest and a petting zoo.

6th Annual Country Market and Craft Fair

Saturday, October 26,  from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.


With over 65 vendors and food trucks galore, your family will love this costume-friendly event with fall decor and Christmas gifts for sale.


Crop Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Springhill Farm

Open every weekend from October 5 to October 27


Visit the corn maze and pumpkin patch at Springhill Farm for fall family fun, including hayrides, pumpkin picking, hayrides and a haunted maze.

Trunk or Treat

Sunday, October 27 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.


Enjoy trunks full of dancy, hayrides, snacks and games at the Canopy Roads Baptist Church Trunk or Treat event.


Fall Cookie Decorating & Cookie Tray Workshop

Sunday, October 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Join AR Workshop Tallahassee for a special, seasonal fall cookie decorating and cookie tray workshop, which includes a DIY workshop for icing, decoration and tray presentation.



Sunday, October 27 at 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.


Big or small, bring your family’s pup in their season’s best, and you could win $100 in the costume competition. 


Fall Family Festival Bradfordville

Sunday, October 27 from 4:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m.


Join the Bradfordville First Baptist Church for their Fall Family Festival with Trunk-or-Treat, pony rides and carnival games.

North Florida Fair

November 7-17


The North Florida Fair returns this year bringing fun for the whole family. Children under 5 have free admittance. Enjoy rides, delicious food and entertainment at the community stage.

Havana Holiday Open House

November 9 & 10


Kick off your holiday shopping in downtown Havana at their Holiday Open House, located in their historic downtown. Caroling, visits with Santa and a tree lighting ceremony top off this fun event.
