Celebrating National Bike Month in Tallahassee
May is National Bike Month! That means it’s the perfect time to get outside, get active and enjoy the sunshine here in Tallahassee.
National Bike Month was established in 1956 by the League of American Bicyclists as propelling motivation to inspire and show the benefits of bicycling. According to Healthline, “Cycling is a low impact aerobic exercise that offers a wealth of benefits. It also varies in intensity, making it suitable for all levels. You can cycle as a mode of transport, for casual activity, or as an intense, competitive endeavor.” So not only can you ride and celebrate National Bike Month for fun, you can exercise and do good for your body simultaneously.
