This annual tradition of Gadsden Arts showcases recent art created by area artists that is juried from hundreds of submissions. Ninety-two works by sixty-nine artists living and working within 200 miles of Quincy were selected to be a part of the show. Exhibited works span the mediums of watercolor, embroidery, acrylic, oil, photography, clay, encaustic, wood, metal, glass, and serigraph. The juror for the 32nd Art in Gadsden is Katie Deits, Executive Director of FloridaCraftArt, a statewide organization in St. Petersburg that supports Florida’s artists and craftspeople. Deits will select the award winners, which will be announced live on Facebook Thursday, July 30th at 6pm.
