Identity in the Ottoman Empire @ FSU Museum of Fine Arts

“Identity in the Ottoman Empire” is an exploration of the diverse ethnic and religious identities that coexisted in the Ottoman Empire (ca. 1300-1922). Architecture, period photography, stamps, textiles, calligraphy, illustrated documents, and interactive displays will bring to life this vast and complex period in world history. Identity in the Ottoman Empire will be on display from August 19-November 9, 2019. There will be an evening reception on Friday, August 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and we hope you will join us!

The Museum is pleased to announce new hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 to 5:00 p.m. Beginning with the Fall semester, we will have extended hours on Thursdays until 8:00 p.m., and Saturday hours from 10:00 to 4:00 p.m. The Museum will be closed on Sundays. Admission is always FREE!
