Downtown Market Tallahassee Saturdays @ Downtown Marketplace

Downtown MarketPlace is Free and open to the public with new safety precautions every Saturday, March through November from 9am until 2pm! Look for fresh produce, bread, Art, crafts, and live music at Monroe Street @ Park Ave 32301.

Downtown MarketPlace is open every Saturday, March through November from 9am until 2pm with new safety precautions. The Downtown MarketPlace features fresh homegrown produce and organic items. Fresh bread and eggs are available. Look for fresh cut flowers and native plants. Local arts & crafts by the original artist, books by local authors and live music. US 27 South of I-10 Monroe @ Park Ave.

Crop Maze & Pumpkin Patch at Springhill Farm @ Springhill Tree Farm

  • Get lost in the Crop Maze.
  • Pan for real Georgia Gold.
  • Find Your Perfect Pumpkins.
  • Play in the corn crib.
  • Play the Maze Trivia Game.
  • Launch the Pumpkin Chunking Trebuchet.
  • Hayrides.
  • Horseback riding.
  • Play miniature golf [new this year].
  • Eat lunch. BBQ, Hot Dogs, Boiled Peanuts
  • Haunted maze and hayride on Friday night, Oct 30 and Saturday night Oct 31
  • Fall Family Fun

Rates:

Armbands: $10 per child over age 3 and $8 per adult. Includes the seven acre maze, 2 bounce houses, tire swings, unlimited hayrides, miniature golf, corn pool, and paint for painting a purchased pumpkin.

Pan for Georgia Gold: $5 each. We will have how to demonstrations through out the day and we will provide a small glass vile for the gold you find.

Sift for gems from North Carolina. $10 per gallon bag. Every bag has gems.


Group Rates: 10% discount for groups of 15 or more on entry armbands.

Horse rides: $7.00 A led ride on a trail down to the Pumpkin Patch and around the top of the hill. Great photo opportunity.

Pumpkins: $4 for pie pumpkins, $8 for medium $12 for large, $45 for extra extra large.

Pumpkin Chunkin. $10.00 You can launch your pumpkin on our 20 ft tall 1000 pound “Pumpkin Chunker” Trebuchet to see if yours can go the distance. Pumpkin included.

Also available for your fall decorating needs. Flowering mums, corn stalks, hay bales, and of course pumpkins of all sizes.

Full Moon Paddle @ Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park

Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park invites you to join us for our first full moon paddle of the year! As the evening twilight fades to dark, we will ease our kayaks and canoes into Lake Hall to enjoy a peaceful moonlit paddle with our guide, Park Ranger Scott Groves.
The park is not renting kayaks at this time, so you must supply your own vessel (no boats).
Due to restrictions in place from COVID-19, we are allowing only 12 participants.
Event is free with paid park admission.
Space is very limited so an RSVP is requested.
Contact the Ranger Station at 850-487-4556 to RSVP.

Aunt Louise’s Fall Farm Corn Maze @ Aunt Louise's Farm

Come on out and spend the day at the farm. We have plenty of room to social distance. We planted almost 3 acres of corn and cut it into a maze, there lots and lots of animals to see, pet and maybe feed, a barrel train, a wagon ride, a rubber duck race, and corn pits to play in, with plenty of photo great opps all included with entry. We will also have pumpkins for sale as well as concessions.
cash and credit cards are accepted. No need to get a ticket in advance, just pay at the gate. Entry is $10 per person, age 3 and under are free. Call Aunt Louise @850.251.7708 for more information.

November Trail Work Day! @ J.R. Alford Greenway

For November’s workday, we will be on the J.R. Alford Greenway trails working on trimming growth and repairing tread. For this type of work, it is best to bring loppers, folding saws and pruners AND a flat head shovel. Dress appropriately, sturdy shoes, long sleeves, pants, eye protection, bug spray, sunscreen and of course a hydration pack! We will be meeting at 9am at the trailhead located at 2500 Pedrick Road.
Please remember to follow social distancing protocols!
If you have kids who need volunteer work for school, this meets the requirements!
