What is the role of the private sector in addressing and helping to end human trafficking? What roles do we play as attorneys in civil practice, business owners and leaders, and consumers? What role does government play and is there a place for public/private partnership and collaboration in addressing the eradication of both sex and labor trafficking? And what about the “supply chains” of goods and services – how can we work to make sure that enslaved people have not produced the food we eat and other goods and services we rely on? These questions and more will be the focus of this program. Featured Speakers, Barbara Martinez, of Holland & Knight, former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida and FSU College of Law Public Interest Law Center’s Human Trafficking and Exploitation Law Project.
Approved by the Florida Bar for 2.5 hours of General CLE Certification Credits

Games will be designed to wake up and use all the parts of the mind, while also boosting our brain health through social interaction. Please register to receive details and the Zoom program link.
