Gentle Chair Yoga @ Goodwood Museum and Gardens

Start your week with Gentle Chair Yoga, one of the gentlest forms of yoga. In this class, traditional yoga disciplines including poses, breath work, and meditation, along with energizing movements and sequences, are practiced either seated in a chair or standing using a chair for support. Benefits of a regular practice include increased strength and flexibility, improved balance and range of motion, better memory and focus, and stress reduction. Gentle Chair Yoga is great for beginners, seniors, and those coming back to physical activity after injury or illness. $5 Suggested Donation.

Local gathering place and experiential retail store Hearth & Soul welcomes The REFINEry as its September Fitness Partner, feeding the soul of the community with complimentary fitness classes on the patio every Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. On Wednesday, Sept. 25, join Felicia Nowels for Barredio, 60 minutes of high intensity, heart rate raising exercise combining traditional barre work, cardio, sports, dance training and total body toning exercises. This fast-paced, challenging class is great for those looking to sweat. Each “Wellness Wednesday” class is complimentary and leaves participants feeling refined and reenergized.
