Voices of FAMU Art Program: A Collection of Six Decades of Art @ FAMU Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery

The Florida A&M University Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery is pleased to present Voices of FAMU Art Program:A Collection of Six Decades of Art from February 27 to April 4, 2020. This exhibition will feature works of art by FAMU Fine Arts alumni spanning the decades of 1960 until the present. FAMU Fine Arts alumnus (class of 1990) and Associate Professor of Art, Harris Wiltsher curated this exhibition as an accompanying event for the celebration of the College of Social Sciences Arts and Humanities Reunion taking place the weekend of April 3- 5 this semester. Wiltsher affirmed, “It is important to me as a FAMU graduate to highlight all of the artists that have matriculated through the FAMU Fine Arts program and the importance of arts to the university, community, and our culture.” The Foster Tanner Fine Arts Gallery’s hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m to 5 p.m. and Saturday 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. There is metered parking on Wahnish Way between Osceola and Gamble St. This exhibition and the opening reception is free and open to the public.
