MoLab, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, provides dynamic, hands-on, inquiry-based science experiences through a mobile science laboratory that promotes discovery. Spring Camp Spark will offer students 5 years old through the 8th grade the opportunity to participate in art and science activities in a fun, interactive, and safe environment. Each daily session will present campers the opportunity to explore science through creative play and experimentation. The sessions present age-appropriate curriculum and are designed to provide students with engaging educational activities that are both informative and entertaining.

Monday, March 15: Brain Games – Investigate the ins and outs of the human brain as you explore anatomy; participate in sensory science challenges; create optical illusions; and try out brain teasers in memory, math, and logic.

Tuesday, March 16: Fab Food Lab – Enjoy a day exploring science with a fabulous food twist. Discover digestion in a goo-ology experiment, engineer spaghetti towers, and concoct some edible and not-so-edible treats!

Wednesday, March 17: Shamrock Science – It’s a St. Patrick’s Day themed camp of discovery! Create a density rainbow, decipher code to find hidden treasure, use chemistry to polish “gold,” and design and construct a lucky Leprechaun trap.

Thursday, March 18: Spring Fling – Celebrate spring with some super seasonal science experiments! Myth-bust if an egg will really stand on its head, dissect a flower, investigate seed science, plant a mini-garden, and explore nature on an eco-stroll.

Friday, March 19: Spark Smorgasbord – Wrap up the spring camp session with an exciting assortment of all things STEAM. Slimy, bubbly, tasty, mechanical, or creative – anything goes in a camp that’s all about fun, hands-on discoveries!

Camp Spark makes learning fun and links Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) concepts to the real-world.
