Brunch, Bags and Bingo @ Capital City Country Club
Feb 1 @ 10:30 am

Join Fight Against Child Abuse at Inaugural Brunch, Bags and Bingo Fundraiser
Tallahassee, Fla. – Findings show that involvement with a children’s advocacy center is more likely to result in a coordinated investigation, as well as specialized medical evaluations and a referral to mental health services. In 2018, Florida’s 27 children’s advocacy centers served more than 34,000 kids who were the victims of abuse or neglect. The Florida Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers (FNCAC) promotes the work of these organizations through specialized training and grants.
FNCAC is the statewide membership organization representing all local children’s advocacy centers in Florida. On Saturday, February 1, FNCAC is hosting its inaugural “Brunch, Bags and Bingo” fundraiser to support children’s advocacy centers across the state.
The fundraiser will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Capital City Country Club in Tallahassee. For only $50, guests will enjoy a buffet brunch, a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar and a silent auction. Guests also will receive 10 bingo sheets. Any guest who wins a round of bingo will be able to select a designer handbag as their prize. Handbags by designers including Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, Spartina, Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren will be up for grabs.
Funds raised at the event will help support FNCAC’s training efforts and provide “Cozy Spaces, Safe Places” grants. These grants allow Florida’s children’s advocacy centers to complete bedroom makeovers for kids who have been physically or sexually abused in their homes.
